About Our SAKA

Welcome to Sri Ashtalakshmi Krushna Aalayam

"Grace, Service, and Community Around the Divine"

Sri Ashtalakshmi Krushna Aalayam Trust stands as a pillar of spiritual strength and community service in Agra. Guided by the ancient wisdom and the compassionate teachings of our Acharya, we dedicate ourselves to nurturing devotion (Bhakti) and service (Seva) in the hearts of all who visit.

Our mission extends beyond the temple walls. We believe that true worship is reflected in how we care for our community. From daily Annadhanam (food distribution) to educational initiatives and Go-Seva (cow protection), every action is an offering to Lord Krushna.

We invite you to join this growing family, to find peace in prayer, purpose in service, and joy in community.

Mission

Our Sacred Mission

Only mission for Sri Sri Krushna Desika Jeeyar Swamy is to make everyone attain MOKSHA.

Our SAKA mission is to uphold the divine grace and teachings of Lord Venkateswara by creating a sacred and inclusive space that nurtures devotion, strengthens community bonds, and empowers future generations.

Guided by the principle of Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavantu (may all people be happy).

We are committed to:

  • Spiritual Growth: Providing a serene environment for worship, prayer, and inner peace through devotion (bhakti).
  • Cultural & Educational Enrichment: Preserving and promoting our heritage, languages, scriptures, and traditions especially for children and youth.
  • Community Connection: Creating a welcoming gathering place that fosters unity, belonging, and shared celebrations among all families.
  • Youth Guidance: Inspiring and mentoring the next generation with strong values, discipline, and purpose rooted in dharma.
  • Service to Society: Living the spirit of Seva Paramo Dharmah through charity, volunteering, and outreach initiatives.
  • Preservation of Dharma: Upholding righteousness and values in daily life, inspired by Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah (dharma protects those who protect it).

Through faith, knowledge, and service, we strive to build not just a temple, but a thriving spiritual and cultural foundation for generations to come.

Aalayam

Our Aalayam Vision in Action

A sacred center where seva, devotion, and culture come together to serve Bhagawan Sri Krushna.

Our temple initiatives include AnnaDanam (free food distribution) and various cultural programs. We believe serving Bhagawan Sri Krushna through the community is the ultimate form of worship, as stated in Bhagavat Geeta.

While the Aalayam is still in its nascent stages, we are working diligently to complete all the planned features. Each addition to the temple complex is being done with careful consideration of traditional architectural principles and spiritual significance.

A sacred abode of Lord Krushna, where devotion unites hearts, culture shapes identity, and community becomes family.

Sacred Initiative

Sahasra Saligrama Kshetram

An installation of 1,000 sacred Saligramas — naturally occurring divine stones from the holy Gandaki River, each a direct manifestation of Lord Venkateswara, creating an unparalleled spiritual energy center for our community.

"Drstva Pranamita Yena Snapita Pujita Tatha
Yajna Koti Samam Punyam Gavam Koti Phalam Bhavet"

— Hari Bhakti Vilasa 5/384 · Skanda Purana

What are Saligramas?

Self-manifested (Swayambhu) sacred stones from the Gandaki River — considered eternal forms of Lord Vishnu, pure and ready for worship without elaborate consecration. They purify the environment and radiate divine presence.

Spiritual Significance

Worshipping 1,000 Saligramas bestows blessings equivalent to 10 million yajnas. The continuous spiritual vibration brings peace, prosperity, protection, removal of negative energies, and liberation (Moksha) to all devotees.

Adopt a Saligrama

Sponsor the installation and daily puja of a Saligrama in the temple. Prayers are offered on your family's behalf, establishing a lasting divine connection and a spiritual legacy passed down through generations — even from afar.
